I fucking made it. Thank god.

We're on the last chapter and I couldn't be happier. There are books that I enjoy tearing apart. But this one was not one of them. I'm just glad to be done.

No seriously. What the fuck was that?

I don't even know if I can organize this review, because I'm so utterly boggled by the way this book went so off the rails. Like, can I even have a section about a "plot"? What fucking plot? Or all the plots? I don't even know!

But maybe I can organize my thoughts a little. I usually don't spoiler cut my verdicts, but this is going to have a lot more detail than most.

So anyway, did the book pass? No. Is it the worst book I read? No. But it's definitely the worst of the Pern books so far, and that's fucking sad. McCaffrey can do better.
