So last time, Drizzt made a friend and has maybe started getting levels of a new class! This isn't technically something a player character could do in the then-current edition of Dungeons and Dragons! But Drizzt has always been special.

(Also, kidding aside, I tend to prefer books focus on story than religiously adhering to game rules. Also, my favorite edition of D&D is 3/3.5, and you totally can switch classes like this in that version.)
