He's holding himself together admirably, and while I can't say if he's forgiven Gisella or not, or acknowledges that she's a victim too, he still seems to be trying to be good to her and their future offspring. That's huge of him, and it speaks well of the kind of person he is.
2) I hope Ian and Tasha will be okay.
3) Now what the eff is this about an illegitimate child from Carillon? Did that actually happen in the past books, or is Roberson pulling that outta her ass to create "drama"?
4) DONAL IS A FUCKING IDIOT. TOO LITTLE TOO LATE OF EVERYTHING, ASSHOLE! Gawd, ripping up his face in that spitefic was too kind of me.
5) See, comments like that -comparing babies to pets- are why I'm concerned about how much Gisella truly understands, and what kind of mother she'd be, especially if she's the one who killed those poor animals. I'm autistic, albeit low-needs, but I know enough to know that my autism would be in the way of being a fully competent parent. I think there's a major need for experienced nannies and wet-nurses, but that makes me worry how Gisella would take not being able to be a mother. Her damage runs deep in more ways than one and it's mostly Donal's fault. Virtually everything is his fault at this point.
6) Oh, and as sorry as I am to do this? [slaps Aislinn's face hard] Do NOT refer to your niece in-law as "that"! You're a queen: Act like it. You wouldn't say shit during diplomatic matters, so don't say it when Gisella's right frickin' there.
