You know, for once, I'm not going to complain about these journal entries. This is actually the perfect place for one. Drizzt's gone through a remarkable shift of perspective, he's had to say goodbye to the most important figure in his adult life, and he's moving on toward his destiny.

To my shock, I actually DO care what much older Drizzt has to say about this time period.
