So last time, we saw Drizzt's education at the Academy, which was actually pretty fun to read. We're getting to appreciate Drizzt's slow growth as a character. He's not quite a good person yet, but we can see the seeds in his personality, and we get to appreciate his growing dissatisfaction.

( I still think adult Drizzt is a dillweed, but I appreciate his growth arc getting there )
